This MoU signing aims to provide a new experience

PT Transjakarta's Service and Business Development Director, Fadly Hasan said the collaboration with PT MARI is a form of responsibility for Transjakarta's active role in inviting residents to switch to using safe and comfortable public transportation.

"This MoU signing aims to provide a new experience, where Transjakarta bus customers can listen to information and entertainment, thus they are more comfortable," he expressed, Wednesday (11/1).

According to him, it was also aimed at providing the latest information, thus residents would switch to public transportation in Jakarta.

"This cooperation has been running for a year and will be evaluated soon," he continued.

By 2030, it was targeted that 60 percent of motorbike riders in Jakarta would switch to public transportation. Until now, the number of Transjakarta bus passengers is 1.1 million people every day.

"To control traffic jams, hopefully, around three to four million Jakarta residents should switch to public transportation. Many things need to be addressed and the signing of the MoU is one way to make this happen," he explained.

PT Mahaka Radio Integra (MARI) President Director, Adrian Syarkawi added his party has a network of six radio stations which will be tasked with being a mouthpiece for disseminating information about Trasjakarta bus services, such as route changes and so on.

"We'll also share new experiences with passengers with various other activities. There will be many surprises for Transjakarta bus users when listening to radio broadcasts on the way," he closed.
